An attempt at a Pop Song

Yeah this song is going to be quirky and weird, but I tried, oh well.

My love for you is a love I cannot describe,
Your face reminds me of the joy in life,
Together, we are like yin and yang.

Oh darling Violet,
My lovable friend,
My loving companion,
The perfect companion to morning stroll.

Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
I like sunsets,
But not as much as I love running with you!

Oh darling Violet,
Your eyes are like beautiful flowers on a summer day,
You’re like the most amusing women to ever walk France.

Your loving space,
Your bottomless soul,
Your beautiful face,
Your everything I wanted…

What were you trying to think about in your song?

The most lovey dovey stuff I could possibly imagine for someone I have never met.

What was your process for writing your song?

To write in stanzas and make every other stanza a description of this person named Violet.

Was it easy? Hard? What you expected? Surprising?

This was pretty hard. It was difficult to gather thoughts and make it sound some what like a song.

How successful do you think your song is?

If I were to rate “successful” on a scale of 1-10, 10 being the best, I rate my song a solid 3. Doesn’t have a nice flow to it and I honestly no idea what I’m talking about.

Do you think you will ever write another song?

Possibly, if I have the inspiration to do so of course.

If you did write another song, what do you think it might be about?

Probably about someone I love or some deep stuff about what has happened in my life. Idk.
